Which machine makes which pack?

The pack decides the host. A pouch you already buy ready-made goes to a rotary or linear premade machine. Roll film that must be formed, filled and sealed as a pouch goes to VFFS. A biscuit, bar or similar piece that sits on a conveyor goes to a flow wrapper. The filler is specified separately on the fill-seal hosts.

What the machine has to do

Hold and open the premade pouch, accept the dose, seal and discharge. For food, that dose is usually a weigher, an auger or a pump — selected from the product, not from the host name.

Magazine → pick → open → fill → two-step seal. Use it when the buyer wants a magazine-fed premade pouch, often with a zipper, rather than an eight-station rotary.

How it works

How the machine actually works

Four jobs exist on every fill-seal food line: feed, dose, present the pack, seal. The host changes; the food still has to be handled honestly.

Stage 01

Feed the product

Hopper, conveyor or infeed timed to the filler. A piece on a belt is a different feed than a granule in a weigher.

Dose

Roll film or premade pouches? Roll film arrives on a core and the machine forms the pack. A premade pouch arrives already made. Flow wrap is roll film around a piece, not a pouch fill. The rotary page states the premade vs form-fill-seal split in its opening boundary.

Starting small, or scaling an existing line?

Buyers looking for a small food pouch packaging machine usually mean one of three different things. No entry-level output range is published here.

A first automatic line

You are moving off hand-filling and need one lane that doses one food form and fills one pouch format. Whether that pouch is premade, formed from film, or flow-wrapped is the first split.

A small footprint, not a small output

Floor area, ceiling height and the real power supply are the constraint. Rotary reference dimensions and a 380 V / 50 Hz reference supply live on the rotary page; phase and total line load are confirmed per project. Send site conditions early.

A smaller budget

Price follows the host, the filler, the pouch, and whether coding, gas flush or inspection sit in the same line. A host alone and a host plus filler plus downstream are different quotations. Fix the pack and the dose before comparing prices.

Automatic lines. The machines on this page are automatic pouch or flow-wrap hosts. Whether a semi-automatic option exists for your format is confirmed case by case. Rotary reference speeds are on the model page; they are not an entry-level promise.

Before you order

What to confirm when you import the machine

Most first-time problems are not mechanical — they are things that were never confirmed in writing before the order.

Power and utilities at your site

The rotary page publishes a 380 V / 50 Hz reference supply and states that phase, local voltage and the total power of the complete line are confirmed per project. Match that to what your building actually provides, including compressed air.

Ambient humidity

If your plant runs humid, raise it early. Humidity changes how some foods flow and how a seal behaves.

Documentation for your market

Decide which certificates you need on arrival, and who issues them — the machine builder or the material supplier. Ask for the documents; do not read a website as a certificate. This page does not state a CE, FDA, UL or USDA result.

Shipping, duty and clearance

Acceptance before dispatch

The film or laminate you choose decides which sealing routes remain available, so it belongs in the first conversation. This page does not rank pouch materials, barrier claims or compostability — those are properties of the material and its certificate, not of the machine.
