Pick & place premade pouch · SPM-160 / 210 / 260
Horizontal Premade Bag Packing Machine
Load premade pouches from a magazine, then fill and seal — sized from the real pouch, product and filler.
Start with the pouch you will actually buy and the product that goes in it. The magazine, grippers, filler and SPM-160 / 210 / 260 frame are then checked as one project.
This machine packs premade pouches. Confirm first: Forming pouches from rollstock requires a form-fill-seal or flow-wrap machine.
- Best fit
- Premade pouch projects that need a magazine-fed pick-and-place host for doypack, zipper, gusset, block-bottom or similar pouches, with a product-specific fille…
- Filling routes
- Auger filler; Multihead weigher; Linear weigher; Liquid pump; Custom / to be confirmed
- Confirm before selection
- Representative product, pouch samples or drawing, target dose and required output.
Start with three project facts
-
01
What are you packing?
Flow, dust, viscosity, particle size and target dose.
-
02
Which real pouch will run?
Drawing, dimensions, material, zipper and opening behavior.
-
03
What result is required?
Target speed, coding, gas, inspection and downstream needs.

Product Fit
What product do you need to pack?
The horizontal host handles the premade pouch. Feeding and dosing are selected from the product. Pick the closest profile — these categories do not confirm compatibility, speed or a filler SKU.
Powder Packaging
Typical dosing
Auger or other powder dosing route, selected after sample review
Key checks
- Flowability
- Dust level
- Bulk density
- Target dose
The pick-and-place host presents the pouch. Dusty or poorly flowing powders can need agitation, dust control or a different filler than the category name suggests.
Sample validation. Final compatibility and machine configuration are confirmed using representative product and pouch samples.
Pouch Fit
A pouch name is not enough to confirm compatibility
This host fills pouches that already exist. Send the drawing and physical samples of the pouch you will buy — opening, zipper, bottom geometry and seal layer each change grippers and tooling.
All 7 pouch formats — select a format to review its applications and compatibility check.
Doypack / stand-up pouch
Typical applications
Named on the current Spack Machine premade-pouch pages for snacks, granules, coffee, pet food and selected liquids.
Compatibility check
Confirm width, length, bottom geometry, opening and seal layer against a physical sample.
Real sample confirmation
Laminated film, laminated paper film and aluminum-foil film describe the supplied premade pouch; this machine does not form a pouch from rollstock. Stick packs are not a default format for this host. Send the pouch drawing and physical samples to check handling and sealing. Pack images are format references, not production samples.

What to send us
Partial information is enough to start. These five points decide the dosing route and line layout.
-
Pouch drawing + physical samples
Width sets SPM-160 / 210 / 260. Zipper, spout and bottom geometry change grippers.
-
Product + dose
Decides the filler — the main driver of accuracy, speed and cost.
-
Target output
Defines the output to evaluate with your product, fill weight and pouch samples under agreed run conditions.
-
Utilities + upstream/downstream
Keeps filler, zipper device, coder and inspection itemised in the quotation.
Final configuration is confirmed after representative product and pouch sample review.

Compare the frame, then confirm the complete system
Use maximum pouch width to screen SPM-160, SPM-210 and SPM-260. Then check the finished pouch length, opening, bottom geometry and filling system with your sample.
Metric values are primary. US customary equivalents appear in parentheses. These are screening references, not a quotation sheet.

Frequently Asked Questions
Horizontal Premade Bag Packing Machine FAQs
These questions cover the decisions that lock a configuration: product fit, pack format, speed, quotation scope and after-shipment support.
Can a horizontal premade bag packing machine run my product and pack format?
A premade pouch must load reliably in the magazine and open through the pick-and-place path. The selected filler must dose the product while keeping the seal area clear. Start with Product Fit, then review your product and pouch samples together. Compare host layouts in our premade pouch machine range. If the bag must be formed from rollstock, review the VFFS route.
What output can I expect with my product and pouch?
Output depends on pouch opening, zipper handling, filling time, dose, product behaviour and sealing. Confirm output for the selected model with your product and pouch samples under agreed run conditions. Define the acceptable filled-and-sealed pouch count and the test duration before comparing results. See Models.
How do I choose between SPM-160, SPM-210 and SPM-260?
Use maximum pouch width as the first screen: SPM-160, SPM-210 and SPM-260 have published maximum widths of 160 mm (6.3 in), 210 mm (8.3 in) and 260 mm (10.2 in), respectively. The family bag-size reference does not define each model’s full operating envelope. Length, zipper, bottom style and filling system still need sample confirmation.
Is a horizontal premade bag packing machine the same as a rotary premade bag packing machine?
They use different pouch-handling layouts. The horizontal machine takes premade pouches from a magazine and moves them through a linear pick-and-place path. The rotary premade bag packing machine uses a rotating turret. Compare the pouch, filling system, opening and sealing requirements, changeover and available floor space before selecting the host. The current frame options are shown on each machine page.
Can a horizontal premade bag packing machine run doypack and zipper pouches?
Both can be evaluated. Doypack, gusset and block-bottom pouches are named on the current category page; zipper opening and sealing is a listed option. Compatibility is not universal — zipper position, opening force and pouch stiffness change the device. Send the pouch drawing plus physical samples. See Pouch Fit.
Can feeding and downstream equipment be part of a horizontal premade bag packing machine quotation?
Yes. Product feeding, dosing, zipper device, dust collection, discharge conveying and compatible inspection equipment can be reviewed together with the host. In the final proposal each item is identified as standard, optional or project-dependent. The hopper in the machine photo is not assumed in every quote. See line configuration.
What should I send for a horizontal premade bag packing machine proposal?
Send what you have — an incomplete list still starts the review. Most useful: the pouch drawing and samples, the product and target dose, the target output, zipper or spout needs, and available utilities. Do not infer electrical supply, air or plug standard from this page. Use the inquiry list.
How is a horizontal premade bag packing machine supported after it ships — and what is the warranty?
Warranty covers 12 months from the date of machine receipt. During that period, defects or malfunctions are covered by technical support and complimentary spare parts for replacement; freight on those parts is borne by the buyer. From dispatch onward, support is available by phone, Skype or FaceTime. Most issues can be resolved remotely. When an onsite visit is required, a technician is arranged; the service fee, round-trip airfare and accommodation are the buyer's responsibility. See Service & Support.
