Rollstock VFFS · VFFS-320S / 420S / 620S
High-Speed Pouch Packing Machine
Form, fill and seal snack, nut, pet-food and powder packs from rollstock — sized from the finished bag, not from brochure speed.
Screen VFFS-320S, VFFS-420S and VFFS-620S from the finished rollstock pack — not from brochure speed alone.
Confirm first: Projects that only need premade pouch rotary packing (doypack, zipper, spout), or tea and coffee filter-bag forming without a rollstock VFFS route.
- Best fit
- Rollstock projects that need a vertical form-fill-seal host plus a product-specific feeding and dosing route for snacks, nuts/granules, pet food or powders aft…
- Filling routes
- Auger filler; Volumetric cup; Multihead weigher; Liquid pump
- Confirm before selection
- Representative product, pouch samples or drawing, target dose and required output.
Start with three project facts
-
01

Product Fit
What product do you need to pack?
The VFFS host forms and seals the bag. Product feeding, dosing, gas flush and downstream checks remain separate project decisions. Select the closest profile to review the checks — these categories do not confirm compatibility.
Snacks Packaging
Typical dosing
Elevator + multihead weigher is the common starting route for chips and similar snacks
Key checks
- Piece fragility
- Oil / seasoning
- Target weight
- Nitrogen / residual oxygen if required
Potato chips are named on the current page. Fragile snacks often need gentle transfer, a confirmed forming set and, when specified, gas flush. The photo does not prove seal, residual oxygen or rate.
Sample validation. Final compatibility and machine configuration are confirmed using representative product and pouch samples.
Pouch Fit
A pouch name is not enough to confirm compatibility
Compare three finished-pack references named for this host: pillow pack, gusseted bag and carry-handle. Hole punch, tear notch, gas flush and chain-style bags are listed options. Each still requires a finished-bag drawing, roll specification and real material sample.
All 3 pouch formats — select a format to review its applications and compatibility check.
Pillow pack
Typical applications
Rear vertical seal with top and bottom cross seals. The default rollstock VFFS starting format for snacks, nuts, pet food or powders.
Compatibility check
Confirm finished width and length, film roll width, registration, seal layer and product headspace.
Real sample confirmation
Laminated film, laminated paper film and aluminum-foil film are current-page examples — not a universal approval list. Hanging hole, euro slot, degassing valve, tear notch, zipper and spout are named optional features; zipper and spout packs are usually a premade-pouch rotary route, not assumed on this VFFS host. Send the finished-pack drawing, film structure, roll width, core, outer diameter, registration mark and physical samples. The pack images are editorial format references, not production samples.

Technical Reference
Open only the level of detail you need
This section explains the buyer’s confirmation path without turning a published page into an unverified technical manual. The old Overview text that described premade-pouch picking is not used.
A rollstock VFFS host typically unwinds film, tracks and registers the web, forms a tube, makes the vertical seal, receives the dose, then cross-seals and cuts. Seal method, jaw motion, film pull and filler timing depend on the ordered format. Intermittent vs continuous motion is not stated on the current page and is not claimed here.

Frequently Asked Questions
High-Speed Pouch Packing Machine FAQs
These questions cover the decisions that lock a configuration: product fit, pack format, speed, quotation scope and after-shipment support.
Can a high-speed pouch packing machine run my product and pack format?
Yes — if a suitable feeding and dosing route can deliver the product into the formed pack without damaging the product or contaminating the seal, and if the finished-pack drawing matches a confirmed forming set. A product name such as chips or pet food is not enough. Send a representative product sample, target dose and bag drawing so the route can be locked. See Product Fit.
Is the listed speed of a high-speed pouch packing machine guaranteed?
No. The current-page headline is up to 100 bags/min. That figure is a screening reference, not a production guarantee. Actual output depends on dose, bag length, film, sealing time, filling system, product behaviour and any gas-flush step. A target speed is stated under agreed test conditions in the project proposal. See Models.
How do I choose between VFFS-320S, VFFS-420S and VFFS-620S?
Use the finished-pack drawing as the first screen, then confirm film roll, filler interface and target output. The current page names the three frames but does not publish a per-model width matrix; the family bag-size range shown is 80 × 45–500 × 300 mm (3.1 × 1.8–19.7 × 11.8 in). That range is not a model-by-model guarantee. Smaller sachet and stick-pack work is screened on the standard VFFS-220 / 320 / 420 family.
Can a high-speed pouch packing machine make gusseted bags, hole-punch packs and chain-style bags?
Those finishes are listed as current-page options; they do not share one universal tooling route. Gusseted bag assembly, euro-slot or round hole punch, tear notch, gas flush and chain-style bags each need a drawing. Zipper and spout packs named on the old optional-features list are usually a premade-pouch route. Send the finished-pack drawing, product and real film so forming, filling and sealing can be confirmed. See Pouch Fit.
Should I choose a high-speed VFFS pouch packing machine or a premade pouch rotary machine?
Choose this VFFS host when the pack is formed from rollstock — typically pillow or gusset bags for snacks, nuts, pet food or powders. Choose a rotary premade pouch packing machine when the bag arrives already made (doypack, zipper, spout). Rollstock is often the lower film cost at volume; premade bags are chosen for stand-up presentation. The two hosts are not interchangeable on the same quotation without a format decision.
Can feeding and downstream equipment be part of a high-speed pouch packing machine quotation?
Yes. Product feeding, dosing, discharge conveying and compatible inspection equipment can be reviewed together with the VFFS host. In the final proposal each item is identified as standard, optional or project-dependent. Review the line configuration before you compare host-only prices.
What should I send for a high-speed pouch packing machine proposal?
Send what you have — an incomplete list still starts the review. Most useful: the product and its flow or fragility, the target dose, the finished-bag drawing and film roll data, the target output, available utilities, and any coding, gas-flush or downstream needs. Do not infer electrical supply, air consumption or plug standard from this page. Use the inquiry list. A first-machine comparison checklist is also on the buying guide.
How is a high-speed pouch packing machine supported after it ships — and what is the warranty?
Warranty covers 12 months from the date of machine receipt. During that period, defects or malfunctions are covered by technical support and complimentary spare parts for replacement; freight on those parts is borne by the buyer. From dispatch onward, support is available by phone, Skype or FaceTime. Most issues can be resolved remotely. When an onsite visit is required, a technician is arranged; the service fee, round-trip airfare and accommodation are the buyer's responsibility. See Service & Support.
