   Product and its state Powder, granule, liquid, paste or solid piece — plus bulk density if you have it. This decides the dosing system.

   Fill weight or volume per pack And the tolerance you need to hold. Tolerance affects machine choice as much as weight does.

   Pack format and finished size A bag drawing tells us more in ten seconds than a paragraph of description.

   Film or bag material structure Sealing behaviour is a material property. If the structure is not decided yet, say so.

   Target output Packs per minute and shifts per day. Daily volume often changes the answer more than peak rate.

   Where it sits in your line What feeds the machine, what takes packs away, and how much floor space you have.
